COOKING DEMOS

Cooking demonstrations for home cooks, professional chefs, culinary students, health clubs, resort hotels, church groups and adult education classes.

We can prepare recipes from scratch, explaining every step of the process, demonstrating the techniques, cooking methods and tasting the final product. Participants can watch, ask questions, participate even and have fun doing it.

We can learn how to make favorite recipes at home or in our business, it’s not only about cooking by the way, it is also about bringing people together, bonding time, strengthen relationships, doing something different and have fun doing it!

Consulting

Helping owners and operators build more profitable business. From back of the house to front of the house, to management and beyond.

Restaurant Training: Training your employees is a crucial element of success.  You will give them the skills and foundation for which they will become the stars to succeed in this very challenging industry. Working with the business plan and employee manuals, I will help you set up the framework for your current and new hires from which to work.

Front of the House: Here we will look at where their skills lie. We will assess and evaluate your employees to find out their strengths and weaknesses.  Next, we will go over the steps of service, service, table greetings, sales techniques, time management, wine service, and menu training.

Back of the House: I will assess and train your staff accordingly in aspects of ordering, receiving, prepping, and production during service. The chefs and cooks will use your standardized recipes to know your menu, proper plate presentations and garnishes.

Chef George believes that one of the best solutions to achieving success is cross training. Your chefs and cooks should understand all stations in order to better serve your restaurant and prevent loss of quality. Nobody wants to be beholden to an employee; should someone not show up for work, you will not be stuck in the weeds.
